Crochet Name plaque for new baby

This is the newest crochet name plaque I have done. I came up with a new design to fit into a new baby girls room. I love making these but it does take some time. The biggest hurdle is finding a frame that fits. This one turned out real cute. Hoping the people I gave it to will enjoy it. I have a lot more that I have finished on my shops if anyone would like to take a look. Most of the time I don't frame the ones I make because it is too costly to send a frame with glass in it. They really need to have glass or some kind of light weight plexi glass to keep them from getting dirty.

Summers over

Well summer is over and the grandchildren are all getting back in school. Guess things will calm down a little now (not!) Now the fun really starts. Everyone got to come and stay on the farm a while except one. And the ones that live right here anyway. They are in and out all the time. It's all wondeful though. Wouldn't have it any other way. Love them all dearly. They're just all growing up way too fast.

Wormy the catipellar

This little guy was a project for my grandson's pre-school teacher. They're mascot for the school was just like this little guy. It really turned out good and the teachers loved it.

newest creations

Haven't posted in some time again. Have some Halloween and harvest items on my shops. Here's a little sneak peak. Wish I had time to do more things but have been at the hospital with sick folks off and on all the time it seems. At least the Lord is looking out for them and they are all still with us.

Getting started again

Well, I haven't posted in a long time. Have just had too much going on and computer problems. Think I have them fixed now and I really need to work on making this blog pop. If anyone out there has any ideas for me as this is still new to me, please feel free to help me along. Of course it is Holiday times again and I have already started getting pretty busy with orders. Thanks to all the folks who keep me busy. I am making Christmas tree skirts this year and working on my crochet snowflakes, bells, and angels. Also trying to get some Halloween and Harvest items made up. I will post some of these when I finish. These tree skirts are lined and quilted. I also added glits with glitter paint to the John Deere skirt. You can see these and other items on my etsy shop. I will be putting them on the other ones too.

Christmas is over

Well, Christmas is over and I thought I could slow down but everything just keeps on moving right along. We were at the fair watching our grandson show his calves and goats this past weekend. I have been busy making my filet crochet name plaques for some people on my shops. I really like to do them. Now all of my sheep are having babies but so for only one is having to be be
bottle fed.

Jelly making time

I'm making my Jalapeno and Christmas Berry Jelly for my gift baskets today. It is just the most wonderful aroma to smell all the different scents that float around the room and all through the house (especially the Christmas Berry with the cinnamon). Just wish I could eat it too. I am allergic to cinnamon and it is all I can do to keep from liking the pan or MY FINGERS!!!!

baby quilt

This is my latest creation. I made this quilt for my step daughter who is going to have a baby boy any day now. It has embroidered blocks of a cowboy and his horse in red. The blocks are seperated by bandan fabric with block blocks in the middle. It really came out very nice. I pieced it together with the machine but did hand quilting on it with the help of my husbands aunt. I also made the cake for her baby shower.
